Thanks for you interest in Bob's Ska Radio and for sending in your music. Although I do purchase several new albums per month, I am unable to keep up with thousands of bands contentiously releasing new music. If you would like music from the band you represent played on my station, you are welcome to send in 1 song or several albums. You can either send cd's via mail or upload digital files.

A few quick tips:

I only accept songs from artists, band members, labels and promoters. Please do not send in your favorite songs or music from bands you are not associated with. If your friend is in a band, tell them about the site so they can upload their music.

The song(s) do not need to be an "official" release (cd,ep,etc), if your band only has some live recordings or a song you recorded last night you are welcome to send it in. As long you feel the sound quality is acceptable to represent your band I will play it.

If you are planning an album or single release and do not want your song played until after a certain time (like telling your fans to tune in next Friday at 5PM), leave a comment in the note section or email me after uploading and I can schedule them to play at / after a date or time.

Try to stick to the same style of music that's typically played. Ska(all styles:, 2Tone, traditional, rocksteady,ska/punk,etc)  and other island influenced music as Reggae, Reggae/Rock, etc.

MP3 format is preferred, but if your music is in another format, like .m4a, that is also acceptable. Higher quality as FLAC or WAV is not needed since it is compressed when it is streamed.

You may send upto 5 files separately (Click on the + to add more files) or you may create your own single ZIP or RAR with multiple files and upload that file. The upload size limit is 75MB for all files, per upload. If you wish to send more, repeat the process. You also may send album art or a PDF press release page with your songs.

It will ask your name, email address and notes after you click Upload Files, please fill these out incase I need more information. If you are sending multiple files, you only need to fill out this info on the first file.

Your uploaded files are safe and not publicly listed or downloaded. I am automatically notified of all uploads and will have them added to the playlist as soon as possible.
